Churches are well-known for collecting money. But a church in Coral Springs is getting national attention for giving away money. During six evening and morning services in May, Church by the Glades (CBG) in Coral Springs gave what they called a ‘reverse offering.’ The church gave away a total of $40,000 in separate unmarked envelopes containing $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 and even $1,000. But there was one little catch ... they had to give it away.
Local churches are now encouraging artists of all kinds to use their gifts for the glory of God, according to Andy Crouch, author of "Culture Making." Instead of focusing on "transforming" culture, he says Christians should
