On October 14, 4KIDS celebrated ten years of the South Florida Orphans Classic & Auction. More than 100 golfers enjoyed a beautiful morning out on the course at Coral Ridge Country Club. In the afternoon, they took part in a lively round of bidding on auction items, all benefiting 4KIDS. Each foursome that participated in the tournament represented different business partners that generously gave towards the event. Between the sponsorships, auction, and additional donations, the players raised over $150,000 for kids in our community!
One of the many business partners that participated in the Orphans Classic was Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, a local South Florida restaurant chain. This month, 4KIDS stood side by side with them in their grand “burrito cutting” ceremony during the opening of their new Dania Pointe location. Joining in on the fun was another community partner of 4KIDS, the Albert Wilson Foundation. After the ceremony, Lime Fresh presented 4KIDS with a generous check for $2,500 to continue making an impact on the lives of the next generation.
4KIDS is grateful to have friendships with individuals and businesses alike in the community who use their resources to give back to kids in need!
