Thank You First Responder is a grassroots effort and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to raise awareness, support, celebrate, honor and most importantly say Thank You to our Nation’s First Responders for the difficult job they do every day by putting their lives on the line to protect and enhance our country and way of life. Together with the aid of individuals, communities, businesses, organizations and the U.S. government, we believe the creation of a Day of Observance is the ultimate expression of thanks and gratitude for First Responders and are working diligently to unify other existing efforts under this umbrella. We the People CAN make a difference!

Since 1994, Hope Haven International has been manufacturing and distributing wheelchairs to children and adults worldwide. For many of these people, owning a wheelchair in their country is a luxury. To date, 121,682 wheelchairs have been distributed to people in 108 countries. Beginning in the small town of Rock Valley and expanding to Sioux Falls, SD, we are making a significant impact in the world—and you can too!
