The Nova Singers will present Maurice Duruflé’s magnificent Requiem with orchestra, organ and percussion. Completed in 1947, this monumental work of Duruflé is based upon themes found in the Gregorian chant, “Mass for the Dead.”  In the second half of the program, the Nova Singers will present some of the music to be performed on their 2016 European concert tour of Budapest, Vienna and Prague.  The Nova Singers have been singing in South Florida for 40 years.  Artistic Director Chuck Stanley also is the Director of Music Ministry for Christ Church.
