Tennis Tournament Benefits Children in Need

Local tennis players will gather to “Play with the Pros” at The Child Protection Team Hope Tennis Event to be held May 1-2 at the iconic Breakers Palm Beach Resort Tennis Club. Held in conjunction with the G. Alex Foundation, all proceeds for the event will benefit the Child Protection Team of Palm Beach (CPT). CPT is a not-for-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of abused and neglected children in the Palm Beach community.

Sponsored by the Tideline Resort, The CPT Hope Charity Tennis Event kicks off Friday evening, May 1, with a friendly warm up exhibition match from 6-7 p.m. Guests will then enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from7-9 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to meet the players and engage in a Q&A session. On Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., clinics will be taught by the pros and recreational players will have an opportunity to learn more of the technical aspects of tennis and ways of improving their game. The schedule also includes round robin matches and promises to be an exciting professional vs amateur tournament.
