DESCRIPTION:JM Family Enterprises\, Inc. will be holding the 18th Annual KID Duck Fest Derby at Esplanade Park\, 400 SW 2nd St\, Fort Lauderdale on March 9 from 12 – 3 p.m. \nThe 18th Annual Duck Fest Derby presented by JM Family Enterprises is one of South Florida’s premier charity events. On March 9\, 2024 children of all ages will enjoy a free\, family-friendly\, Duck DMC-themed festival filled with “quacky” activities in the KID Fun Zone including the KID Olympics\, face painting\, petting zoo\, live entertainment\, delicious food trucks\, and more. \nThen 40\,000 rubber ducks will be dropped in the New River to race for prizes and in support of the mission. DESCRIPTION:The Salvation Army of Broward County will be holding its inaugural Red Shield Regatta at JM Family’s “The Park”\, 200 Jim Moran Boulevard\, Deerfield Beach on March 9 from 6 – 10 p.m. \nSpecial guest host Captain Lee Rosbach of Bravo TV’s “Below Deck” and “Couch Talk with Captain Lee & Kate” will meet and greet guests and emcee the event’s model sailboat regatta featuring WPLG Local 10 Anchor Nicole Perez\, WPLG Local 10 Reporter Roy Ramos\, 101.5 LITE FM’s Host Julie Guy\, and 102.7 FM The Beach Host Gaby OC as they race to raise funds to benefit Plymouth Colony\, an essential transitional housing complex in Hollywood that provides shelter and supportive services for families facing adversity. \nAttendees to The Red Shield Regatta will enjoy gourmet food\, an open bar\, live entertainment\, a silent auction\, and the thrilling spectacle of model boat racing.
