DESCRIPTION:MADD Southeast Florida will host the 14th Annual UKG & Salah Foundation Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K at \nHuizenga Plaza \, SE 1st Avenue and Las Olas Blvd.\, Fort Lauderdale on April 27 at 7:30 a.m. \nThousands of walkers\, runners\, strollers\, wheelchair athletes\, and supporters of all ages will come together in downtown Fort Lauderdale to raise awareness and funds to end impaired driving for good. \nFestivities will include children’s activities\, an awards ceremony\, live musical performances\, and vendor/educational booths. The event will be attended by dignitaries including Walk Like MADD Fort Lauderdale Founder and Honorary Chairperson Heather Geronemus; Honorary Chairperson Colonel Nichole Anderson\, Undersheriff of Broward Sheriff’s Office; Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony; Sgt. Ryan Clifton from Broward Sheriff’s Office; Sgt. Trevor Thomas from Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s DUI Unit; and Lt.
