DESCRIPTION:American Heritage Schools and The Innocence Project of Florida (IPF) will be holding the sixth annual comedy event series\, “Stand Up for Innocence\,” at the AHS Broward Campus\, 12200 W. Broward Blvd.\, Plantation on February 1 at 8:15 p.m. \nThis is a fun-filled night featuring stand-up comedians who frequently appear on Comedy Central and at NYC Comedy Clubs. The evening will entail levity and laughs to raise money for The Innocence Project of Florida – a nonprofit organization that aims to help innocent prisoners in Florida obtain their freedom and rebuild their lives. \nAll proceeds from the Stand Up for Innocence comedy show will provide critical funding to help IPF find and free innocent people from prison in Florida. The organization’s litigation efforts and support services for freed people are provided at no cost to the wrongfully convicted. \nThe event will feature three comedians including Lowell Sanders\, Kimberly Clark and Matt Donaher. An incredibly versatile and accomplished comedian\, Sanders has emerged as a premier headliner at venues nationwide. His unique blend of comedy is provocative and most importantly real. A highly regarded comedian\, Clark uses dry humor and her captivating presence to train a precision lens on pop culture\, politics\, personal experiences and the absurdity of everyday life.
