The Salvation Army of Broward County is excited to announce its partnership with Robert Craig Films to tackle homelessness through the No Address Movement. This collaboration leverages the power of cinema to raise awareness and inspire action on behalf of the homeless.

Robert Craig Films will release the feature film “No Address” in theaters this fall. This initiative includes a documentary titled “Americans With No Address”, a novelization of the screenplay, an interactive study guide and a music album featuring songs for the movie and radio distribution.

The Big 5 GIVEBACK initiative ensures that a portion of the net proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army of Broward County. For over 90 years, The Salvation Army of Broward County has supported the most vulnerable members of our community, providing diverse programs and services to empower individuals and families, fostering an environment of dignity and opportunity.

The movie “No Address” follows Lauren, who, after the tragic death of her mother and being kicked out of her foster home, finds herself homeless. She meets Jimmy, a runaway who introduces her to a street family comprising Harris, a veteran and painter; Dora, a former actress with dementia; and Violet, a veteran battling addiction. Together, they navigate the challenges of street life, facing threats from gangs and societal indifference. Inspired by true events, the film showcases the resilience and humanity of those without a physical address.

The screenplay for “No Address” has won over 70 Best Screenplay Awards, including accolades from the International World Film Awards and the European Cinematography Awards. The film’s star studded cast features William Baldwin as Robert, known for “Backdraft” and “Sliver”;  Xander Berkeley as Harris, known for “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” and “The Walking Dead”; and Ashanti as Violet, known for “Coach Carter” and Grammy Award winner, among others.
