The 14th Annual UKG & Salah Foundation Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K Kickoff Party will be held at
BBX Capital, 201 E. Las Olas Blvd., Suite 1900, Fort Lauderdale on January 22 from 6 – 8 p.m.
ADD Southeast Florida is kicking off its 14th Annual UKG & Salah Foundation Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K presented by the Sheriff’s Foundation of Broward County with a meaningful 2025 VIP Kick-Off Party presented by Craig Zinn Automotive Group.
Drunk driving deaths have increased by 31% over the past decade with someone being killed or injured in a drunk driving crash every 78 seconds. Drunk driving is a 100 percent preventable crime, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)’s goal is to end impaired driving.
Attendees will enjoy light bites provided by Red Chair Catering, mocktails by LaCroix and a variety of raffle and silent auction items donated by local MADD supporters. Money raised stays in the South Florida community to save lives and support victims of drunk driving.
Special guests include Walk Like MADD and MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K Founder and Chairperson Heather Geronemus, local dignitaries and more.
