Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, 5555 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale will be showcasing a performance of Handel’s Messiah on December 14 at 4 p.m.

Written in just 24 days in 1741, this sacred oratorio has become one of the most beloved traditions of the concert stage, especially during the Christmas season. From the opening words of “Comfort Ye, My People” to the triumphant strains of the “Hallelujah” Chorus, Handel’s masterpiece traces the story of Christ with music that is at once deeply moving and universally recognizable.

At Coral Ridge, Messiah comes to life in the acoustically rich sanctuary with orchestra, choir, and soloists joining forces to present the work in its full glory.
