Calvary Chapel Downtown, 1100 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale will be hosting Better Together’s Second Chance Job Fair on March 5 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Second-chance job fairs promote the power of second chances for neighbors who face barriers to employment. These can include past incarceration, homelessness, lack of transportation or child care, or gaps in employment.

With a spirit of hope and celebration, the church-based job fairs empower job seekers by connecting them with local employers who are ready to hire, while offering supportive services that foster meaningful connections and increase opportunities for lasting employment. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite.
