Lighthouse of Broward will be celebrating Global & Lighthouse Accessibility Awareness Day at Flamingo Hall, 12855 NW 8th St., Sunrise on May 21 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The free community event will showcase hands-on assistive technology and local providers while celebrating accessibility for the visionally impaired, blind and broader disability community. Guests will network, hear inspiring disability stories, visit with vendors, learn about the tools and resources that support independence and experience hands-on assistive technology demonstrations.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is an internationally recognized observance dedicated to promoting digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities.
