The 1st Annual Shoe Festival is a free festival that features games, food, vendors, live music, and a BBQ Cook Off that will be judged by officials from the Delray Beach Fire Department. The festival will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Barwick Road Church, 500 Barwick Road, Delray Beach. The festival seeks to raise awareness of the plight of the poverty that Haitians living on the sugar cane plantations in the Dominican Republic face on a daily basis as well as provide them with new or gently used shoes for all occasions.

Festival goers are encouraged to bring a pair of slightly used shoes that will be shipped to the Haitian people during the Fall of 2015 and will be distributed by a mission team from Broken Box Ministries.
