2nd Annual South Florida Food Insecurity Summit

Due to the uncertainty of Hurricane Dorian’s impact and the desire to plan the best day for all attendees, Feeding South Florida is postponing the Food Insecurity Summit originally scheduled on September 12. Please stay tuned for the rescheduled date.

Feeding South Florida will be holding the 2nd Annual South Florida Food Insecurity Summit at the Signature Grand, 6900 State Road 84, Davie, on September 12 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

At the summit, community stakeholders will convene around the issue of food insecurity in South Florida, the impact it has on the economy and health, and develop mutually-agreed upon next steps and solutions toward increasing food access. Topics addressed will be government and policy actions, retail/corporate involvement, agricultural involvement, health care, institutional settings, and charitable response.

The summit is free and open to the public.
