Crockett Foundation will hold its 8^th Annual Community Health Festival on Saturday, August 13^th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pompano Civic Centre, 1801 NE 6th St, Pompano. This free, open-to-the-public event is an opportunity for members of the Broward County community to come together as families prepare for the back-to-school season. The goal of the festival is to educate families on the importance of maintaining good health and to promote positive lifestyle choices.

At the event, Broward County children and youth will be provided with FREE physical exams, immunizations, shoes and school uniforms. There will also be a backpack giveaway for which students can receive fully-stocked backpacks for the new school year.
