The Hopkins Team, a Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Team, is holding a Back-to-School Drive now through Aug. 5 to help Broward County children in need. They will distribute all the supplies to students at Broward County Public Schools.

Donators may drop off supplies at Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, 600 N. Pine Island Rd., #150, Plantation, FL, Mondays–Fridays, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Hopkins Team is collecting backpacks, lunch bags, markers, highlighters, pencil boxes or pouches, protractors and rulers, scissors, colored pencils, crayons, notebooks and loose-leaf paper, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, flash drives, binders and dividers, folders, glue sticks, wide ruled one-subject notebooks, composition notebooks, ruled index cards, calculators (TI-109,TI-83, TI-30X), and gift cards (Target, Walmart, Office Depot).

“Supporting local education at every level is of great importance to us at The Hopkins Team,” said Dondi Hopkins, team leader at The Hopkins Team. “By collecting and distributing school supplies, we are striving to make a difference in the lives and education of Broward County’s children in need.”

Also in support of local students’ education, The Hopkins Team recently awarded $1,000 college scholarships — through The Hopkins Team Homes Scholarship Program — to five high school seniors (class of 2018) who live in Broward County.
