Black Dresses & Blueprints

Rebuilding Together Broward County, a nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low income homeowners, is hosting its inaugural “Black Dresses & Blueprints,” a cocktail reception and awards ceremony celebrating women in the construction industry. The event will recognize outstanding women who are leaders within and have made an impact in the construction industry, their community, and will be held on February 6 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom, 201 SW 5th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.

Honorees will include Beth Azor, president and owner of Azor Advisory Services; Debbie Danto, COO and owner of Danto Builders; and Traci Miller, senior vice president and shareholder with Miller Construction. Alexandrea Torti will be honored with the Young Rebuilder Award.

More than 150 guests ― including companies and individuals in construction-related industries and focused on housing issues, senior citizens and veterans, including local leaders and influencers ― are expected to attend. The fundraising objective of the event is $100,000. Cocktail attire is preferred.

Parking will be available at the A&E Parking Garage (corner of SW 5th Ave. and SW 2nd St), or at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts valet, both for a charge.
