When it comes to having fun and fundraising for a great cause, nothing can surpass Victory Living Programs’ highly anticipated annual event – “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club (415 E. Country Club Circle, Plantation, FL).

This casual, island-paradise themed evening will include top-notch entertainment, dancing and the best burgers in town, served with all the accompaniments one could possibly imagine. On this night, just like the famous Jimmy Buffet song says, you can enjoy a delicious Cheeseburger in Paradise “with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french-fried potatoes,” and all for a great cause.

“This is an affordable, casual, fun event that gives everyone a chance to kick off their shoes, hit the dance floor, mix and mingle, and enjoy a delicious burger,” said Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs. “The proceeds help provide support for our many programs that help individuals with disabilities, right here in Broward County, live, work and play more independently.”

The cost to attend is $65 solo or $115 duet and includes the ultimate burger bar complete with all the fixings (chicken will also be available), two drinks tickets good for beer/wine, live entertainment, a silent and live auction, and dancing .Click here to purchase tickets.

The annual “Cheeseburger in Paradise” event is planned by the Angels for Victory. Founded in 2003, Angels for Victory is a dedicated group of individuals who plan and host fundraising events throughout the year to benefit Victory Living Programs. Victory Living Programs has been helping individuals with  disabilities in Broward County live, work and play independently for more than 40 years. The event proceeds will ultimately support Victory Living Programs’ wide variety of supported living, employment and social and recreational activities and programs.
