A Christmas Evening

Tropical Flutes kicks off its 7th musical season with two Christmas concerts on December 7 at 6:30 and 7 p.m. The first is at Lakeside Presbyterian Church WPB at 6:30 in conjunction with their Advent dinner. The main concert will be held at the flute choir’s sponsor church, First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach, at 7:00 p.m. Tropical Flutes is a non-profit, community flute choir consisting of piccolos, C, alto and bass flutes. This concert’s guest artist will be cellist Susan Ulen, who is a musician at the First Baptist Church of Lake Park.
The group will perform a variety of music, from a beautiful arrangement called “Greensleeves Fantasia,” a fun piece called “ Santa’s Symphony,” and a grand finale of the Hallelujah Chorus where we will be joined by both Mark Aliapoulios on organ/piano and Susan Ulen. The concerts are free, but donations will be appreciated to cover costs for music and accessories.
