Christ Church, 4845 NE 25th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, is hosting David Finnegan-Hosey, author of Christ on the Psych Ward, on October 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Author David Finnegan-Hosey shares his personal story of mental health struggle and recovery, and offering some practical guidance based for those seeking to be in faithful ministry and relationship with people struggling with their mental health. He will talk about the ways in which he encountered Christ in unexpected places — the psychiatric units of hospitals. Finnegan-Hosey wrote the book Christ on the Psych Ward. He serves as chaplain-in-residence at Georgetown University and holds an MDiv from Wesley Theological Seminary. He is certified by Mental Health First Aid. This is a free event.
