In person and online, The Spady Museum’s new book club will explore Kingdom of This World by Cuban writer Alejo Carpentier. The artwork in the current exhibition, Decolonizing Refinement: Kingdom of this World, is artist Edouard Duval-Carrié’s illustration of Carpentier’s novel.
