Food aficionados and wine enthusiasts are invited to the fourth annual Eat Your Heart Out culinary feast at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale benefiting the Heart Gallery of Broward County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the adoption and enrichment of Broward’s foster children. The event will feature live entertainment and a silent auction.

Participating restaurants include Angelo Pizza, Bar and Tapas, The Capital Grille, Truluck’s, Il Mulino, Cafe Vico, Cibo Wine Bar, P.F. Chang’s, Myapapaya, Burger 21, Funky Buddha, Flash Fire Pizza, Red Cow, Sweeter Days, Taverna Opa and Zona Fresca.

The event takes place Thursday, October 6, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, 2414 E Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale. Cost is $75 per person. The Heart Gallery of Broward County, one of over 100 independent heart galleries across the country, is a respected not-for-profit committed to finding loving families for the hardest to place foster children. The Heart Gallery of Broward County was introduced in 2007 as a traveling photography exhibit of foster children who were waiting to be permanently adopted, and has evolved to work closely with ChildNet and local foster care providers to seek adoptive families and other connections for these children.
