Fitness Challenge for Foster Children

The First Responder Team Challenge will be held at 8 a.m. on September 27 hosted by CrossFit Dimensions, 240 SE 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach, to benefit children in foster care. During the fitness event teams, including local firefighters, police officers, military and EMTs, will compete to bring more attention to the needs of Florida’s foster children. One hundred percent of registration fees and other on-site fundraising efforts will benefit Place of Hope at the Haven. Place of Hope is a faith-based, state-licensed child welfare organization that provides family-style foster care (emergency and long-term); family outreach and intervention; adoption and foster care recruitment and support; and healing for children and families who have been traumatized by abuse and neglect.
