Advent is an intentional time of anticipation for family, friends and the community as we prepare to receive the gift of God in the birth of Jesus. First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale warmly invites you to come and share in these experiences leading up to Christmas.

On Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 5:30 p.m., the Advent season will begin with Christmas Family Night, bringing the Christmas story to life! This joyous family-friendly event features Mary and Joseph and the birth of baby Jesus. Guests won’t just hear about the birth of baby Jesus, they’ll see, touch, smell and taste what life was like during this miraculous time!

“Christmas Family Night is a wonderful opportunity to kick off the Advent season,” said Cindy Vason, Director of the Children’s Ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale.  “Your faith is sure to come alive this Christmas season with this one-of-a-kind, interactive event that appeals to adults and families with children of all ages.”

In addition to Christmas Family Night, First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale has many other Advent observances planned, including the Because of Bethlehem Churchwide Advent Study, the much-anticipated Annual Christmas Concert and more festive celebrations!
