Providing a day to see Jesus as the Master Gardener of our lives, Covenant Village of Florida, a faith-based continuing care retirement community, will host “Garden Getaway: Where Women Walk with God,” on Saturday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Covenant Village of Florida, 9215 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation.

“Our lives are like seasons, sometimes in vibrant, full bloom and other times run down and in need of a little TLC,” says retreat leader Karen Cook, church and community relations coordinator for Covenant Village of Florida. “At our retreat women will deepen their relationship with God, be reminded that God is with us in every season of our lives, and develop Christian friendships that will grow long after the retreat has ended.”

The retreat is comprised of six, small-group sessions designed to engage women of all ages. Sessions will reflect on the concepts of seasonality and timing, and activities will include prayer, discussion, reflection and a service project.
