The Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 West Atlantic Avenue, Pompano Beach is hosting a Quoting Shakespeare Night on August 19 from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Seven short plays by local playwrights using famous quotes from Shakespeare will be read by members of the Shakespeare Troupe of South Florida. The evening is sponsored by the South Florida Theatre League and its annual Summer Play Fest featuring local playwrights. Award-winning actors include Peter Galman, Beverly Blanchette, Seth Trucks, Kevin Reilley, and Christine Chavers. Playwrights selected from submissions include Marj O’Neill-Butler and Michael Leeds.
