Saint Joseph’s Episcopal Church Dedicatory Organ Concert

Saint Joseph’s Episcopal Church will ring in the New Year with a concert, dedicating its new organ, an Allen Custom 5M2C digital musical instrument, featuring pipe organ samples from around the world. January 13, 3-5 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, 3300 S. Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach. For more information, visit www.stjoesweb.org or call 561-732-3060.

DETAILS:

The 90-minute concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature organist David Clyle Morse and will be followed by a reception in the Parish Hall for all attendees. See more on Morse below.

“The organ is a gift from a group of anonymous donors in our church and community.  The concert itself will be classical and sacred music and will feature the song stylings of an adult choir,” said Rev. Canon Dr. Martin William Zlatic, rector of Saint Joseph’s.  “Because the organ itself is in the choir loft, the entire concert will be projected via video camera onto our two jumbo screens in the sanctuary; so that regardless of where you are seated in the church, you will have a great opportunity to both hear and see the entire concert.”

For those unavailable to make the January 13 concert, Saint Joseph’s Episcopal Church welcomes visitors to listen to the organ music as part of its service every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

WHEN: 3-5 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2019
