Sheridan House is holding its 2021 Sheridan House Family Values 5K on February 20 online.
The 5K is open to people of all ages and athletic abilities.
Participant Swag: Everyone who registers receives the following:
- event shirt
- finisher medal
- official race bib
Teenagers are faced with many challenges, from drugs and vaping to broken, non-intact homes. Many are confused and angry, especially now that COVID-19 has added even more instability to their lives. The funds that are raised will make a way for these at-risk youth to receive individualized mentorship.
Additionally, hardworking single moms have lost income or their jobs or their rent has been raised in the midst of the lockdowns. Thus, the raised funds will help provide skills and support they need to gain and maintain their financial independence.
The cost to attend is $25.
