Stand Among Friends (SAF) is celebrating a remote back to school enrichment for students with disabilities from August 2 – 31.   This year the race, which will be held virtually, invites any participant who can run, walk, use a walker, canes, service dogs, wheelchairs, etc. in the event during their “emb(race) 2020 Virtual Challenge” from their home or neighborhood. The race will raise funds to support back to school with assistive technology devices, which will aid and assist the community for the upcoming year. Participants of the race are to set a goal to run, walk, bike, or do other fitness activities and track your progress.

For every 15 minutes you spend on your favorite activity it will equal a mile!

Your personal mileage goal is up to you. The end goal is to run, roll, swim 500 miles or approximately 1,000,000 steps and raise $25,000.

Registration lasts from now till August 31. The cost to enter is $45.
