United Way of Broward County Mayors’ Gala

Join United Way of Broward County for an evening of entertainment and networking. This event is a great opportunity for key influencers and charity supporters to come together with the common purpose of building a better community through United Way of Broward County. By partnering with MISSION UNITED, each city will honor a veteran who lost his/her life in combat during a “Gold Star Salute” in which the veterans’ family members will be recognized. Broward County Mayor Marty Kiar will serve as the host of this year’s event.The gala will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by a program, live auction, dinner and dancing. Ramola Motwani, Chairwoman and CEO of Merrimac Ventures, is the event chair. JM Family Enterprises, Inc. and Southeast Toyota Distributors will serve as the title sponsors. Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is the presenting sponsor. Chairman’s Circle Sponsors include Consolidated Credit and Publix Super Market Charities. All proceeds from the event will go directly to United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED initiative and additional services for those in need. It’ll take place Saturday, October 22nd at 6 p.m Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction at 7:30 p.m. the Program and Dinner will commence. It’s located at Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, Fort Lauderdale.
