VIRTUAL BRUNCH FOR HOPE

Place of Hope is kicking off its is creating a virtual, online brunch titled Brunch for Hope! A Celebration of Motherhood Virtual Event!  The event will celebrate its adoptive, biological, foster, single and to-be mothers and its direct and indirect supporters and will take place on May 16 at 10:50 a.m.

During the virtual event, attendees will hear from inspirational speakers like Donna Mullins, wife of the Founding Pastor of Christ Fellowship, Place of Hope foster parents and renowned motivational speakers Chris and Emily Norton, Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg, St. Lucie County foster and adoptive family, the Armstead’s and more! There is no cost to watch this live event streaming on Place of Hope’s YouTube channel and Facebook. 

Those who register for this free event will be able to bid on a robust selection of silent and premier live auction items. Silent auction bidding begins online on May 9 and will close on May 16 during the event, while premier auction items will go live May 15. All funds raised during the event will be matched 100 percent by Place of Hope’s Emergency Response Matching Fund.

Attendees who pre-register to the event, by May 14, will be entered to win a virtual in-home wine tasting by Beltane Ranch in Sonoma, California, and a custom-made charcuterie board* by Iris Smeltz and the Board Babes. The organization is encouraging women to treat themselves or the women in their life to a VIP experience brunch basket. The basket is available for purchase ($250) and includes a chef-curated menu and ingredients with a virtual private chef demonstration by Abril’s Table Iris Smeltz, a bottle of Champagne and a bouquet of fresh flowers. VIP Brunch Baskets will be delivered to your home on Friday, May 15. *Quantities are limited and delivery areas are limited to Martin County, Palm Beach County and Broward County.

Brunch for Hope menu: Challah French Toast with hints of cinnamon and vanilla, pure maple syrup, thick cut bacon with a mason jar of specialty candied bacon seasoning; a half dozen fresh local farm eggs, Boursin cheese, fresh smoked salmon, capers, fresh tomato on the vine, Meyer lemon and red onion, small freshly squeezed orange juice and two stemless champagne glasses
