The Salvation Army of Broward County is seeking South Florida residents with a positive outlook and an affinity for philanthropy and fun to apply for seasonal bell ringer positions during the nonprofit organization’s three job fairs on October 12, from 10 a.m. – noon, October 13, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and October 28, from 10 a.m. – noon. First Care Women’s Clinic, 2200 N Florida Mango Rd Suite 102 West Palm Beach, will be holding its Baby Bottle Boomerang on May 8. First Care’s Baby Bottle Boomerang (BBB) is a unique event that partners with local churches, schools, and organizations. First Care provides the bottles to hand out. Supporters fill the bottles with cash, coins, and/or a check. Once the bottles are filled, they can then be “boomeranged” back to First Care. This annual event raises funds to help First Care empower women facing crisis pregnancies to choose life for their unborn babies!
