The Children’s Services Council of Broward County will be holding its Back To School Extravaganza at Miramar High School, 3601 SW 89th Avenue, Miramar on July 27 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Every year, the CSC and Broward County School Social Workers and many other community partners support students with a series of “Back to School Extravaganza” events. The program provides supplies to school-age children identified as living in economically disadvantaged households.

In addition to providing school supplies, families will receive valuable information on resources to help them save money and access free health screenings. These services will be available at events held just before the new school year starts, offering a one-stop solution for families preparing for the upcoming academic year.

The complimentary vaccinations here are available for children who are uninsured or who have Medicaid or Florida Kidcare. A current immunization record and the presence of a parent or legal guardian are required at this time of immunization. The parent or legal garden must have a valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and proof of address (lease, utility bill, etc.).
