Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Broward County will be taking part in the Fort Lauderdale 5K Turkey Trot at Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E Las Olas Blvd. Fort Lauderdale on November 24 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.

The Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot has become a Broward County tradition, attracting more than 3,000 participants annually, including runners, joggers, walkers, friends, coworkers, and family.

Featuring a 5k run/walk race, the course runs along beautiful and scenic A1A, Fort Lauderdale’s iconic beach road. Enjoy the ocean breeze and the majestic colors of a South Florida sunrise whether through running, walking, or jogging the course. This event is perfect for novice to elite participants. Thanksgiving-themed costumes are welcomed and encouraged!

Commemorative race shirts, medals, and bib numbers are guaranteed for the first 2,800 participants.
