The Creation Studies Institute will be holding its Ice Age Fossil Float at Encore Riverside RV Resort and Campground, 9770 SW County Road 769, Arcadia from April 26 – 28.

Experience God’s creation on the beautiful Peace River in Arcadia, Florida. Discover the fossils of gigantic Ice Age Creatures that once roamed the Earth. See how the remains of these animals tell us about the past and make the vital connection of how they are related to the Bible.

What to bring for Fossil Hunting…

Food:
Cooler with lunch and beverages to take on river.

Equipment:
Fossil Sifting Screens (optional)*
Digging tools (long handled shovel)*
Zip-lock baggies or apron pouches (to carry finds)
Old shoes to get wet (rubber water-shoes work best)**
Goggles/snorkels/fins (optional)
Plenty of drinking water
Sunscreen!

*Provided by CSI (you can bring your own if you would like)
**Due to sharp objects in the shallow waters, we will not allow anyone without footwear to exit their canoe.
