MADD Southeast Florida is hosting a kick-off event for the 13th Annual Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K at BBX Capital, 201 E Las Olas Blvd, Suite 1900, Fort Lauderdale on February 6 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Guests will enjoy light bites provided by Red Chair Catering, mocktails and a unique opportunity to win exclusive prizes such as beautiful jewelry from Daoud’s Fine Jewelry and more. Guests will also enjoy a performance by a poet from the Jason Taylor Foundation’s Bluapple Poetry Network. Money raised stays in the South Florida community to save lives and support victims of drunk driving.

Special guests include Walk Like MADD and MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K Founder and Chairperson Heather Geronemus, MADD National President Tess Rowland, local dignitaries and more.
