The Mavuno Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking through education and a message of hope will be holding its KIDS UNITED event at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex,  3000 NW 199th St, Miami Gardens on July 22 from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The event, ” KIDS UNITED- Building Awareness and Resilience Against Human Trafficking” aims to raise awareness about the dangers of human trafficking and educate the community, especially young individuals, on how to protect themselves and others. By joining forces with esteemed community partners, this event seeks to foster collaboration in the fight against human trafficking.

Key Highlights of the Event:
Remarks by distinguished guests, including Chairman, Oliver G Gilbert III , Councilwoman Linda Julien, Councilwoman Shannan Ighodaro. An awareness workshop led by students of Miami Dade College School of Nursing and an Inspirational story by CEO Reginald Andre of Ark Solvers Cyber Security.
