The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS), 401 SW 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale will be unveiling the Nature Explore: Outdoor Exhibit, a new permanent exhibit funded by the Community Foundation of Broward, the State of Florida and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, on April 23 at 10:30 a.m. The exhibit showcases Broward County’s wildlife and ecosystems and inspires a love for the natural world through immersive, hands-on exploration.

Guests at MODS will dig like a gopher tortoise, build a coyote den, and create butterfly wings from natural materials like leaves, seeds and bark inspired by native species—highlighting the importance of Florida wildlife corridors and conservation efforts. This exhibit supports the efforts of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation by raising awareness of the need to protect and connect critical natural habitats across the state.

Porter Community Impact Fund, Mary and Alex MacKenzie Community Impact Fund, The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation Broward Community Fund and The Spirit Airlines Charitable Foundation.
