United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED initiative will be holding Operation Turkey Dinner, an annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution event open to Veterans, Active Military, Active National Guard and Active Reserve Members who are Broward County residents. The distribution event will be held at United Way of Broward County’s Colker Center, 1300 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale on November 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Each Thanksgiving Box feeds a family of four (4) and includes a box of instant stuffing mix, cans of corn, jars of gravy, instant mashed potatoes, pie crust, can of pumpkin, marshmallows, cans of green beans, cans of evaporated milk, jellied cranberry, cornbread mix, aluminum foil and a $25 grocery store gift card.

To receive the meals, all participants must register in advance and will need to present their online registration ticket and proof of Veteran or military status while in the drive-through line.
