The festival is a celebration of Iberian-American culture through art, music, and poetry. DeSantis Family Chapel, 300 Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach, will be hosting Carter Viss, a 2017 PBA alumnus who lost his arm and nearly his life in a snorkeling accident on September 29 at 11 a.m. as part of Palm Beach Atlantic University's Homecoming Weekend. Viss will receive a Distinguished Alumni Award at a lunch to follow at noon in Upper Weyenberg, 900 S. Olive Ave. Viss forgave the driver of the boat who hit him and later teamed up with him to advocate for ocean safety.
