Nearly 200 community members celebrated the Grand Opening of 4KIDS’ newest office in Miami Gardens on February 29. This momentous occasion marked 4KIDS’ fourth expansion and regional office, adding Miami-Dade County to a dozen other Florida counties where 4KIDS is bringing Hope, Homes and Healing to children and families in crisis.

The 4KIDS Miami Grand Opening

This gathering was a powerful culmination of efforts almost 25 years in the making. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Kevin Enders, 4KIDS President and CEO, recounted how he had discovered archived meeting minutes from the year 2000, where 4KIDS leaders recognized the desperate need in Miami-Dade County and were seeking opportunities to bring 4KIDS’ interventions into the region. Dignitaries who participated in the ribbon-cutting included Rodney Harris, Mayor of the City of Miami Gardens, Shevaun Harris and Dennis Miles from the Florida Department of Children and Families, and Pastor Adrian Molina of Vous Church.

“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we’ve received from government officials, other nonprofits, church and business partners as we plant roots in Miami-Dade. This Grand Opening marks the beginning of 4KIDS’ commitment to making an eternal impact on the lives of kids and families in this beloved community,” shared Ryan Noble, 4KIDS Executive Director of Miami.

4KIDS now provides services in the following counties: Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, Indian River, Hendry, Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Miami-Dade and Monroe.
