Is there a place in heaven for animals?  The Pastors at Advent Church in Boca Raton think absolutely!  On Jan 30th, Advent held a Pet Blessing for the public.  All manner of critters attended including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and hamsters.  There were puppies tumbling over their feet, a service dog in training, a 15 year old poodle that has traveled the world and guinea pigs with fashionably styled hair, just to mention a few of the beloved pets that came to participate.  A pet parade was held after a beautiful service that included blessing all the pets and St. Francis medallions which were distributed to everyone attending.  The Pastors also bestowed individual blessings on pets as they mingled with the crowd. Attendees brought dog and cat food which was donated to the Tri-County Animal Shelter. www.adventboca.org
