The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is proud to announce their Third Annual Gold Coast FCA Celebrity Golf and Tennis Classic to be held Monday, Nov. 2, at the beautiful Parkland Golf and Country Club in Parkland.

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start set for 9 a.m. and will be hosted by legendary FAU football coach Howard Schnellenberger for the third year in a row.

The event will also include appearances by local and national sports legends, athletes and coaches led by former Miami Dolphin greats like John Offerdahl and OJ McDuffie; former NY Giant Quarterback Danny Kanell; former FSU and NY Jet Marvin Jones, as well as baseball greats like Bucky Dent, Stan Bahnsen, Larry Hoskins and scores of other sports stars.

“We created this event as an outlet to create awareness of the sports Life outreach and to raise funds to support programs and activities associated with the local Gold Coast FCA chapter headquartered on the campus of FAU in Boca Raton,” said Gold Coast FCA Area Director James Pendleton.

This FCA Golf and Tennis Classic is jam-packed with fun-filled contests, golf and tennis clinics with professionals, raffle prizes, speeches from Christian athletes and an impressive sports memorabilia auction.

The cost for golfers is $1,500 per foursome including a celebrity ($500 per individual) and $150 per person for the Match Point Ministries tennis pro-am lead by Spiritually Tough Tennis Pro Scott Williams. Additional guests can also attend the FCA Awards Buffet Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. for $50 per person.
