Step Back in Time at Bethlehem Revisited

This five-day family-friendly event begins Friday, December 12th and will close on Tuesday, December 16. On week nights, you can enter the city between 7 and 9 p.m. with entrance an hour earlier on Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m.

The historic recreation includes a walled city utilizing more than 30,500 square feet of lumber. While awaiting entrance into the city gate, visitors may encounter Roman soldiers on horseback dressed in traditional armor keeping the peace. Experience an authentic marketplace where shop owners are eager to show their wares and demonstrate how they were made. Storytellers roam the city and young children will be delighted to interact with live animals amongst the livestock. The visit culminates with the presentation of a Living Nativity complete with angels.

“We hope that everyone who leaves the city is lifted up and given a sense of peace,” said Senior Pastor Alex Shanks.

Come and join the thousands of people who experienced Bethlehem Revisited last year. It’s a great way to bring Christmas to life and is appropriate for all ages. First United Methodist Church is located at 8650 W. Sample Road in Coral Springs (half mile east of University Drive).
