Breakfast Demonstrates Christian Community’s Support of Israel

New York, NY – Feb. 2, 2011:  The Israel Life of Tourism (IMOT) announced the hallmark event, Celebrate Israel Breakfast, that will take place on Sunday, February 27, at 7 – 9 a.m., at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN, in the Presidential Ballroom during the annual National Religious Broadcasters Convention.

The event will include Israeli dignitaries, as well as nationally known speakers and recording artists. The breakfast is a celebration of the Christian community’s solidarity with the state of Israel.

“We are excited to welcome our friends from the National Religious Broadcasters convention to the Celebrate Israel Breakfast,” said Haim Gutin, Tourism Commissioner, North and South America. “I know will see an amazing outpouring of support from the 1,000 or so members of the Christian community who attend the event.” 

Currently, the list of Israeli dignitaries attending the event includes:
• Stas Misezhnikov – Israel Minister of Tourism from Jerusalem
• Haim Gutin – Israel Tourism Commissioner, North and South America, from IMOT North American headquarters in New York City
• Oren Drori – IMOT Deputy Director-General and Head of Marketing Administration from Jerusalem

The keynote speaker for the event is Woodrow Kroll, president of Back to the Bible. Malcolm Honlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, will also speak at the event. In addition, Misezhnikov and Gutin will present awards to Jay Sekulow, chief consul for the American Center for Law and Justice and Rev. Luis Cortes Jr., President and CEO of Esperanza USA.

Musical performers include Grammy nominee Amick Byram, David Phelps, and Taranda Greene.
