Camp Identify Students Serve at Hepzibah House

image1Forty-two students from Camp Identify participated in a camp-related service activity on June 23. The students painted, cleaned up debris, planted shrubs and cleaned. This group project was for a faith based nonprofit ministry called Hepzibah House located in Boynton Beach, Florida. Hepzibah House rehabilitates women who have been enslaved in the sex industry. During their season of abuse, many of the women also become addicted to alcohol and drugs. At Hepzibah House, women in recovery are lovingly brought back to wholeness through an encouraging supportive staff.

Camp Identify is a five-day leadership training camp that specializes in inspiring teen leaders through service-related projects, group activities and life dynamics. Teens are motivated through three mandates “I stand, I lead, I serve.” Teens are encouraged to stand for things they believe in, lead by taking responsibility for their actions and recognizing the leader within. They are encouraged to show gratefulness by serving the community. Camp Identify is part of a greater vision called Elevate Life, located in Ft. Lauderdale.
