Chris Lloyd Joins HOPE South Florida as CEO

Chris LloydHOPE South Florida Founder and Board Chair Fred Scarbrough announced that Chris Lloyd started as its new CEO on June 15, joining Robin Martin and Steve Werthman to round out an already strong leadership team.
Chris was the Executive Administrator at First Fort Lauderdale (formerly First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale) and brings extensive experience in finance in the health care field.
“HOPE South Florida has grown significantly over the past several years and with the addition of Chris we are positioned to realize growth towards our mission of providing hope for the homeless and hurting through services and partnerships with the Christian community,” Scarbrough said.
Excited with the opportunity, Chris stated, “I have known Fred Scarbrough and Robin Martin for many years and have been impressed by what they have accomplished in bringing the faith and civic communities together to address the issue of homelessness. HOPE South Florida has grown ten-fold in its capacity to house homeless families and veterans in recent years. With the business community now stepping up more, we see many new opportunities on the horizon and I am excited about this chance to use my skills to further HOPE’s mission.”
