Know the Facts. Inspiring Conversations between Youth and Their Families

United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, in partnership with The City of Pembroke Pines, Broward County Public Schools, and South Florida Wellness Network, will be hosting a Town Hall meeting on September 25th, entitled “Know the Facts. Inspiring Conversations between Youth and Their Families.” The Town Hall meeting will feature a panel of experts and community members gathering together to discuss family stress, and the harmful consequences of alcohol and other drug use.  Other event sponsors include SAMHSA, Broward Behavioral Health Coalition (BBHC) and Mujeres Latinas.

The Town Hall will be at Susan B. Katz Theater of the Performing Arts at the River of Grass Artspark, 17189 Sheridan Street, Fort Lauderdale on September 25 from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
