Church by the Glades Gives Away 5,000 Rolls of Toilet Paper

Taylor Pownall, student ministry director, hands out free toilet paper to visitors at Church by the Glades.

To ease the burden so many folks are carrying while working, caring for their families, and finding supplies, along with practicing social distancing, Church by the Glades gave away 5,000 rolls of toilet paper on March 20 at their church in Coral Springs.

Pastor David Hughes, lead pastor of Church by the Glades, said, “During times like these, we believe the last thing people should be worried about are basic needs, like having enough toilet paper. So Church by the Glades is here to meet physical and spiritual needs during this hectic time.”

The individually-wrapped rolls of toilet paper were given on a first come, first served basis as part of a “drive thru” event in which cars wrapped around their parking lot waiting for their supply.

David Hughes, Lead Pastor at Church by the Glades, and his wife Lisa Hughes, serve during their Toilet Paper Giveaway event in March.

Over 9,000 people attend Church by the Glades at their 3 campuses located in Broward and West Palm Beach counties. They are currently holding their services online. For service times and directions, visit www.cbglades.com.
